Dr. Rebecca Rivera’s research goal is to improve dietary behaviors across clinical and community populations to promote health. She will target food insecurity by combining research methods from nutrition science, public health and biomedical informatics.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago, received her MPH from the University of Minnesota and earned her PhD from Purdue University. She completed a fellowship through the Indiana Training Program in Public & Population Health Informatics, a collaboration among Regenstrief, Indiana University School of Medicine and IU Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health.
