Dr. Sprague is an emerging scholar whose research agenda can be divided among three themes: (1) understanding the complex, dynamic relationship between physical and cognitive function in older adults, (2) identifying and optimizing behavioral interventions to improve either physical or cognitive function in older adults, and (3) implementing advanced statistical techniques to answer these questions and better inform future research and practice.
Dr. Sprague received her B.A. in psychology at the University of Kansas and her M.S. and PhD in human development and family studies at The Pennsylvania State University. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh’s department of epidemiology.
