Jeff Warvel has actively participated in numerous projects at Regenstrief in the last year but has devoted a considerable amount of time helping the ETL team with data validation, design, analysis and project management. He has great communication skills, which makes it easy for him to collaborate at all levels including engineers, managers, investigators, external customers and contractors. Drawing from his years of experience and leadership skills, he has provided valuable guidance to team members including myself in dealing with difficult tasks. Though his current title is Business Analyst, on numerous occasions Jeff has stepped in not just to help with design and analysis, he has also assisted in programming. He is also an integral part of the Linkage Honest Broker (LHB) project where his input has been very valuable. I nominate Jeff for the “One Regenstrief Award” because his participation and guidance on any project is extremely valuable; his calm and composed demeanor is a trait that, in my opinion, all leaders should possess.
