Regenstrief Institute won The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award for a five-state region and will move on to compete in an international competition.

The TOBY Award, presented by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), recognizes excellence in office building management and operations. Regenstrief won the corporate facility category. The Regenstrief campus is managed by Regenstrief Facilities Management and is augmented by CBRE, Inc., a full-service property management group providing assistance that includes managing vendors, billing and invoicing for regular building maintenance and services.

Applicants for the award were judged on tenant relations, commitment to environmental sustainability, emergency preparedness, budgeting, work order systems, security standards, staff experience and continuing education opportunities. Winners were chosen from nine different categories. The Regenstrief building won for best corporate facility. It was in competition against other facilities in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky.

The winners of the international competition will be announced on June 25th at the BOMA International 2019 Every Building Conference in Salt Lake City, UT.
