Dr. Eric Vachon is a health services researcher and registered nurse. His research is focused on the symptom management of cancer patients actively going through treatment, particularly individuals treated with oral oncolytic agents. Dr. Vachon is also interested in the integration of patient-reported outcomes and symptoms within electronic medical records.
Dr. Vachon earned his bachelor of science in nursing from Hope College in Michigan and his PhD in nursing from Michigan State University. Prior to joining Regenstrief, he completed a T32 postdoctoral fellowship in the Indiana University School of Nursing and IU Simon Cancer Center.
