Regenstrief Institute’s work in public health informatics was highlighted at the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association (APHA).

APHA hosts the largest meeting of public health professionals in the world and champions the health of all people and communities by working to strengthen the public health profession and supporting public health issues and policies backed by evidence.

The organization created a video showcasing the thought leadership of the Regenstrief Public Health Informatics program, which works to advance public health practice by applying the institute’s extensive experience in health informatics to population health challenges. The program is focused on developing, evaluating and applying tools to improve the health of people and populations.

“Regenstrief’s mission aligns closely with that of the American Public Health Association,” said Brian Dixon, PhD, MPA, director of public health informatics at Regenstrief and Indiana University Richard M. Fairbank School of Public Health at IUPUI. “We are honored to be featured in this video. We hope it will bring more awareness to the work we are doing and lead to future partnerships to improve public health.”
