International audience attending conference on AI in healthcare

VIEW RECORDINGS OF THE CONFERENCE
Starting today, June 1, at 11 a.m., more than 430 people from 16 countries are participating in a virtual conference focused on applying artificial intelligence (AI) for healthcare hosted by Regenstrief Institute and Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI).

Over the course of three days, “Artificial Intelligence: Applying Research and Engineering Solutions for Emergent Needs in Healthcare” will address deploying real-world AI solutions, future trends in healthcare AI and data science, and approaches to address challenges and leverage opportunities in this area.

National and international experts from academia, industry, government and clinical practice will share insights and experiences and guide probing dialogues about using AI to improve the delivery of healthcare. The conference is June 1-3. Each day features a keynote speaker followed by a panel discussion.

Healthcare AI is a growing field with great potential to improve health and the delivery of care. However, there are many considerations in moving forward, including the potential for unintended consequences. This conference explores those issues and delves into realistic goals and applications for the technology. Regenstrief Institute and Indiana CTSI are working toward solutions that can be leveraged successfully while mitigating possibilities for negative impacts.

More than 430 participants are joining the discussion from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, India, Kuwait, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Scotland, South Africa, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates and the United States.
