Regenstrief researchers leading core of national research incubator

Drs. Callahan and Torke are leading a core of a national Alzheimer's research incubator.

Regenstrief researchers Christopher M. Callahan, M.D., and Alexia M. Torke, M.D., are leading the training core of a major national research incubator with the goal of improving healthcare and quality of life for people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Dr. Callahan and Dr. Torke will develop and coordinate a two-year junior career development award program to train researchers to conduct embedded pragmatic clinical trials in people living with dementia. The scientists trained will help to develop and test solutions to improve care for the growing population of people suffering from the disease.
