Jennifer exemplifies Regenstrief’s mission of improving health around the world through her work on OpenHIE — helping countries build out their e-health architecture strategies and developing an academy for informatics capacity-building within developing countries. While doing this, she has taken on leadership roles that meet or exceed those of Regenstrief investigators, not only leading by example, but also helping cultivate the careers of those around her. She is laser-focused on delivering tangible outputs, has helped with DEI efforts at Regenstrief, is always quick to offer a hand to anyone in need, and is a primary reason for the high morale amongst the GHI team. Jennifer is the type of person who would make Sam Regenstrief proud and for whom we are all fortunate to have as part of the Regenstrief family. I can think of no one more deserving of a One Regenstrief Award.
